We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration/HVAC Technician to provide preventative and reactive maintenance across a cluster of Coles sites in North Brisbane and Sunshine Coast.

The Opportunity
In this role, you will complete preventative & reactive maintenance across a cluster of Coles sites. Reporting to your Field Operations Supervisor, you will work to maintain high standards across your stores, provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships.
Your cluster will be based in North Brisbane and Sunshine Coast, including but not limited to Birtinya, Caloundra, Kawana Waters, Mooloolaba, Nambour, Currimundi.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Take full responsibility for delivery of repairs and maintenance services on multiple high‑end state‑of‑the‑art refrigeration sites.
* Conduct frequent planned preventive maintenance so that critical breakdown issues do not occur.
* Respond to reactive Refrigeration/HVAC maintenance work in a timely manner.
* Be an effective communicator and develop strong partnerships with all key stakeholders.
* Work on a rotating on‑call roster, 13 weeks per year.
To be considered for this role:
* Practical experience in commercial refrigeration and HVAC in a supermarket environment.
* Refrigerant Handling Licence, Hydrocarbon Refrigerant Licence & Restricted Electrical Licence.
* Mechanical Services A/C & Ref Occupational qualification.
* Current Driver's Licence.
* Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
* Scissor/Elevate Work Platform licence – highly regarded.
* An understanding of CO2 systems and refrigeration controls; Emerson, Danfoss and Alerton.
The position requires a pre‑employment medical and a police check.
