We are looking for a passionate and professional individual to join our busy Wollongong team as a full‐time Cardiac Physiologist.
Your impact, with us
As our Cardiac Physiologist, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate, high‐quality cardiac testing and support for our patients—contributing to earlier diagnoses, better outcomes, and ultimately, healthier lives.
Based in Wollongong, you'll support our cardiac services team by managing ECG‐related procedures, assisting with exercise stress tests, and ensuring high standards of care and patient interaction.
- Being responsible for providing the day to day best practice delivery of ECG‐related testing procedures for Advara Heartcare patients.
- Managing procedures including the performance of ECG's, analysis and interpretation of ECG's, blood pressure, Holter monitor and event monitor application and analysis, as well as assisting Cardiologists with Exercise Stress Tests and Exercise Stress Echocardiograms.
- Working across several busy Cardiology practices across multiple locations, and you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care.
- Working closely with other Cardiac Physiologists, Specialist Cardiac Physiologists, Cardiologists, and all practice staff to ensure best practice and optimise patient outcomes.
What you'll bring
- Thorough understanding of the principles of ECG analysis and interpretation.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to provide guidance and theoretical education to less experienced Cardiac Physiologists.
- Ability to work effectively, both independently and in a team.
- Ability to carefully plan, organise and prioritise tasks.
- Understanding of customer service principles with an ability to respond sensitively to patient needs.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to fluctuating workflow and internal / external demands.
- Ability to follow direction; accept feedback; learn new tasks and adapt to change.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- License and car are essential, as the ability to travel between sites is an important part of the role.
- Take on additional duties/responsibilities where appropriate.
