Job Description
EMACS Electric Motors are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Metal Machinist to join their team in Yatala QLD 4207. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
* Study and read drawings and specifications to determine suitable material, method and sequence of operations and machine settings
* Fit fabricated metal parts into products and assembling metal parts to produce machines and equipment
* Setting guides, stops and other controls on machining tools, setting up prescribed cutting and shaping tools in machines and presses, and setting controls for machines
* Forming metal stock and casting to fine tolerances using machining tools to press, cut, grind, plane, bore and drill metal
* Cutting, threading, bending and installing hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines
* Diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of machine, and overhauling and repairing mechanical parts and fluid power equipment
Skills & Abilities:
* Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical trade
* Ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related field
* Experience with beams lines and plasma plate cutting
