Job Role Overview
An integral member of our Asset Management Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing, leading and delivering capital projects.
Closely collaborate with production and maintenance teams to maintain high safety and environmental compliance levels.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical expertise to team members across engineering projects.
2. Manage and execute projects from initiation to completion.
3. Identify and mitigate project risks.
4. Weekly reporting, cost control and project tracking.
5. Establish constructive working relationships with key peers and stakeholders.
6. Conduct regular inspections and audits for compliance with established standards.
7. Collaborate with consultants, suppliers and vendors to deliver services within plan and specifications.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in the mining/resources industry.
* Excellent organisational, time management and communication skills.
* Ability to achieve results in demanding environments.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
* Experience with project management tools and systems.
* Desirable: SAP experience.
