About the role
TAFE Gippsland is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Early Childhood professional to join the Early Childhood teaching team, delivering the Certificate III and Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care to a diverse range of learners.
A key focus of this role is supporting VDSS students, with Thursdays a mandatory teaching day. In this position, you will deliver engaging, high-quality training and assessment, develop and contextualise learning resources, and support students both in the classroom and, where required, in their workplace environments. You will also be responsible for the administrative requirements associated with course delivery, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with training and assessment standards.
The role may also involve workplace visits, providing additional support to students in their learning environments, and class coverage as required. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who enjoys working with young learners, values practical, hands-on training, and is passionate about supporting students to build confidence and capability for a career in Early Childhood Education and Care.

Qualifications and experience
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40122 or equivalent (mandatory)
* Relevant vocational qualification to the level of teaching/assessing
* Extensive relevant industry experience
