We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, professional and experienced Yard Hand/Forklift Operator to join our Dispatch Team. This position will ensure that trucks and customer vehicles are loaded and unloaded in a safe and timely manner, with no damage.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity working day shift, Monday to Friday (between 7:00am to 3.00pm), with overtime when required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Print out vehicle load sheets, plan the load and placement onto delivery trucks.
* Locate finished goods and load vehicles safely and effectively.
* Pick and pack products required for loading.
* Scan and update records to load sheets.
* Move stock and finished goods around the warehouse safely.
* Maintain stock records and stock movements via scanners.
* General housekeeping to ensure a tidy and safe working environment.
* Strict adherence to our critical safety rules and contributing to a safe working environment.
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
* Proven experience driving forklifts and hand loading vehicles.
* Current, valid Forklift Licence and Driver's License are essential.
* Organised and efficient, with a good level of initiative to ensure your workload runs smoothly.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Physically fit to undertake a frequent movement and lifting role.
* Clear communicator, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
* Numeral literacy and basic computer skills.
