* Salary $111K - $122K + Super + Salary Packaging (salary dependent on qualifications and experience)

About the role

As a Team Leader for our Early Years Centre, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team of Social Workers and Teachers, who provide supported playgroups, maternal and child health services, family and targeted case management support, parenting programs and early childhood education to families with children under 8 years of age. Our services focus on early intervention and prevention to ultimately empower children and families. You will work as part of a strong and collaborative leadership team of 4 supporting Early Years Centres in Acacia Ridge, Browns Plains and Beaudesert, with various opportunities to be autonomous and lead on projects which meet funding outcomes. Our team is a supportive, strength-based multidisciplinary team with a broad range of early childhood teachers and educators, social workers, child health nurses, midwives and allied health qualified professionals committed to high quality work providing wrap around early intervention services.

Skills and Experience

We want you to be successful in your new role! This means you'll have:

* A degree/qualification in Social Work, Education, Human services or social welfare or other relevant field
* Demonstrated experience in coaching and leadership with an approachable, transparent and responsive style in building positive team culture
* Comprehensive management skills including troubleshooting, managing multiple deadlines and conflict resolution
* Sound understanding of the principles of integrated service delivery and an ability to undertake a leadership role with multi disciplines of teams
* Excellent understanding of child protection issues and client vulnerabilities and risk indicators such as drug and alcohol use, domestic and family violence, mental health issues, and the impact of trauma on child behaviour and development.
* Experience working in collaborative, cross functional way with teams, peers and stakeholders to achieve outcomes
