 
        
        Trayne Consulting is currently recruiting for a Stock Controller to join our client's busy team, located in Jacobs Well. Our client is an Australian owned company designing, manufacturing, selling & hiring mobile site vans for industrial & commercial use for the mining, energy & resource sectors, government departments & construction industries
Reporting to the Director, this role will see you manage the supply and demand of inventory, ensuring that there is adequate stock available for the manufacturing part of the business.
We are looking for someone from a similar background in stock control or supply change, that loves working in a quick-paced environment where you will pro-actively oversee the inventory levels of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the stock control system by ensuring optimal stock levels at all times, foreseeing supply and demand to avoid overstocking and running out of stock 
- Enter inventory data into the inventory software program in a timely and accurate manner, including stock adjustments and actioning any stock issues or damage 
- Create purchase orders for incoming stock, equipment, and supplies 
- Check stock inventory and product arrival against purchase orders to ensure accurate delivery of items, verifying receipts and confirming purchase content and orders are complete 
- Co-ordinate shipment and freight of outgoing stock 
- Undertake inventory & stock audits, monitoring quality, discrepancies and ensuring all products are listed in the inventory with correct data 
- Undertake purchasing of products from suppliers, negotiating prices, tracking shipments and receiving orders 
- Prepare regular reports as required for the review of the Director, Finance and Sales teams. 
- Carry out ad hoc duties as required
Required Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role is a MUST 
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Administration, Supply Chain, or similar field highly advantageous 
- Ability to accurately forecast, with a pro-active approach towards stock control taking into account the ever-changing Climate 
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to build positive relationship with both internal and external customers 
- Must have strong Microsoft office experience including Word, Excel & Outlook as well as experienced with CRM/Databases 
- Highly organised, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise, whilst maintaining strong attention to detail and problem solve 
- Positive and can-do attitude to take on any new duties where no task is too big or too small
This role will see you working Monday - Friday, 8.30 - 4.30pm. Due to the location of this role, you will need your own reliable transport to get to work as there is no access to public transport.
Please note our client closes over the Xmas/New Year period for approx. 2 weeks and this will be taken as annual leave.
**Salary**: $60,000.00 per year
