We are seeking two experienced and motivated Labourers (Asset Maintenance) to join a busy Council team based in Yamanto. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a 4-day work week while contributing to the maintenance and improvement of community parks and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform skilled maintenance of park and facility improvements
* Maintain properties and construct and/or repair minor structures including fences, concrete works, shelters and buildings
* Conduct inspections of park equipment and assets and report findings
* Undertake basic horticultural practices including turf maintenance, pest and weed control
* Ensure all works are completed to required safety and quality standards
Mandatory Requirements
* Current C Class Driver Licence
* General Safety Induction (Construction Industry) Card (White Card)
* Ability to complete pre-employment medical and criminal history checks
Desirable
* LR Licence
* Trade qualification or relevant trade experience
This role offers an excellent 4-day working week with flexible start and finish times between 6:00am and 4:00pm, providing genuine work/life balance. You will secure a stable temporary assignment through to 31 May 2026 while contributing to the maintenance and improvement of valued community assets within a supportive Local Government team environment.
