**Hey You!**:
genU is looking for a **Quality & Safeguards Advisor - Aged Care **to join our longstanding, purpose driven and values-based organisation to make a real difference to people's lives daily.

The role of the **Quality & Safeguards Advisor - Aged Care **is to ensure a high level of advice, guidance and expertise across genU aged care branches and supports to deliver high quality services ensuring a Human Rights based approach and industry best practice.

You will actively manage, analyse, and report on a range of quality and safeguarding matters and provide coaching, mentoring and support to all levels of our operational teams.

This role is pivotal in driving consistent and person-centred service delivery organisation wide and in ensuring that our people are empowered and central to all that we do.

This is a full-time ongoing position, based at the genU support HUB in Geelong, flexible working arrangements available.

**About You!**:
Our ideal **Quality & Safeguards Advisor - Aged Care **is an excellent communicator with strong service collaboration and conflict management skills. You will easily develop rapport with a range of stakeholders and have the ability to coach, mentor and influence managers and support staff. You will also exhibit proficient time management skills and the ability to manage and prioritise your project-based workload.
- Essential Requirements:_
- 5 + year's management experience working in a human service field;
- Qualifications in Human Services and a current Nursing registration;
- Broad knowledge base of project work and the demonstrated ability to incorporate innovation into project delivery;
- Extensive community services sector knowledge including, working within a Human Rights based approach to support people who have are aging and comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation including, but not limited to the Aged Care Act, Charter of Aged Care Rights and Aged Care Quality Standards;
- Significant experience in working with people who are aging including knowledge of a broad range of aging related issues, complex behaviours, and associated issues;
- Ability to analyse, review and prepare a range of quality and safeguards documentation, assessments, education materials and technical reports;
- Experience in internal and external audit preparation to evaluate, develop, and maintain recommended outcomes;
- Ability to engage with clients in the co-design of projects and all aspects of service design, delivery and review;
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain;
- Current NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate or willingness to obtain;
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless you are an Excepted Person as defined by the COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination (Workers) Directions. _All applicants must therefore be able to comply with this requirement._
