Property Management Assistant
Job Description:
As a Property Management Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the onsite team in managing commercial property assets. Your key responsibilities will include assisting with budget preparation, monthly report preparation, lease administration, and monitoring rental arrears.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with budget preparation, including forecasting and capex reporting.
* Prepare monthly reports on property performance.
* Administer leases, including setup of new leases and auditing of current leases.
* Monitor and pursue rental arrears.
* Assist with rent review processes.
* Issue purchase orders using MRI software.
* Attend client and tenant meetings to provide support.
* Codify creditor tax invoices.
* Assist with producing tenant tax invoices and reconciliations.
* Liaise with contractors, tenants, and owners as required.
Requirements:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with some property experience (residential or commercial) who is eager to learn and grow. You should have exceptional customer service and client relationship management skills, along with a drive to succeed.
A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude is essential, coupled with excellent organizational and time management abilities. A high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required, along with the ability to use initiative and find efficient solutions. Some accounting and lease administration knowledge is highly desirable, and a tertiary qualification in property finance or construction is advantageous but not essential.
