Industry Development Manager

The Industry Development Manager plays a pivotal role in fostering strategic growth opportunities for South Australian manufacturers and supply chains. This position involves building and nurturing collaborative relationships with industry, business, government, and research sectors to drive positive economic, environmental, and social outcomes.




Key Responsibilities:




* Lead targeted engagement with South Australian manufacturers to identify and leverage funding and investment opportunities through complex grant programs and government initiatives.

* Develop and maintain strategic partnerships and networks with key stakeholders across government agencies and industry to maximize opportunities for South Australia.

* Analyse complex information to identify and evaluate critical risks, issues, trends, and opportunities, delivering expert advice and recommendations to influence and address impacts on the manufacturing industry's capacity to adopt new business models, partnerships, solutions, and technologies.

* Lead and deliver significant briefing papers and reports, providing evidence-based recommendations and influencing strategic decision-making on issues of a complex and sensitive nature.





Requirements:



To succeed in this role, you will require:




* Contemporary knowledge of the South Australian Manufacturing sector, international, national, and South Australian economies, and the risks, opportunities, and trends affecting manufacturing growth and sustainability in South Australia.

* Significant experience in developing and implementing high-quality partnering and engagement activities, collaborating with stakeholders in the development of targeted, actionable plans and programs.

* Sound knowledge of business, management, and stakeholder practices.

* A competitive salary ranging from $121,107 to $125,679 per annum.

Additional Information:



This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) position for up to 24 months. A satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check will be required prior to commencement.
