What do we Offer?
* Proactively Lead, Manage, and Develop a sales team of 3 Business Development Managers.
* Be hands-on with approximately 70% of the week in the field.
* Source and secure new business within retail locations that meet Company targets.
* Drive sales in existing accounts to meet financial forecasts, while managing expenses.
* Demonstrate proven negotiating skills with retailers in a highly competitive market.

* Continuously evaluate and improve processes, procedures, systems, and reports for efficiencies.
* Report to the National Sales Manager.
What do we Need?
We seek a dynamic and motivating leader who loves seeking new business, cold calling, and developing their team. If you enjoy achieving KPIs, increasing profitability, and are passionate about sales—this role is for you!
This predominantly field-based role involves managing retail customer service and sales within Victoria & Tasmania, with a focus on developing new business.
Applicants should have a successful sales and leadership background, excellent presentation skills, initiative, resourcefulness, and solution-oriented thinking.
You must be a strong leader with experience managing sales teams and dealing with various customers, including independent and multiple retailers. Experience in greeting cards, cosmetics, fashion, or similar industries is highly regarded.
Excellent computer skills, especially in Word and Excel, are required.
If you are currently in retail and prefer a role without weekend work, this could be ideal.
Visit some Simson accounts like Myer, David Jones, or major newsagents if selected for an interview, and prepare a strategy for growing the state, including your approach for the first four weeks.
This role is based near our Head Office, with occasional visits to Laverton and Fitzroy offices, and involves travel within Victoria and to Tasmania.
An excellent salary package will be offered to attract top candidates.
