Remuneration package valued at up to $156,253.00. Base salary ranges from $90,177.00 to $137,861.00, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation. Base salary rates above the minimum are available depending on experience.

Specific Selection Criteria
* Approval to teach English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D), or currently undertaking approved secondary EAL/D qualifications recognised by the NSW Department of Education.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a high school setting to support the literacy, academic language and English language development of EAL/D students, including newly arrived students, across a range of curriculum areas.
* Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive, engaging and supportive learning environment that meets the diverse linguistic, cultural, and educational needs of secondary EAL/D learners, while fostering a culture of high expectations and student achievement.
* Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to build positive and productive relationships with the learning support team, classroom teachers, Head Teachers, executive staff, families and the wider school community to enhance student learning outcomes.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
Special Notes
If applicable, engagement will be temporary until successful completion of the Teacher English as an Additional Language / Dialect qualifications as recognised by the NSW Department of Education which must be completed within 12 months.
