Senior Information Technology Business Analyst - Cyber

As part of the enterprise delivery team, you’ll work closely with architects, project managers, subject matter experts and vendor partners to shape and support critical technology uplift initiatives.
About the Role:As the Senior Technical Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in defining and documenting requirements to support the transition of Salesforce Identity and permissions management from Entra and Salesforce to Okta. You will work alongside a Solution Architect and external vendor resources to ensure the organisation’s identity, permissions and access structures are accurately captured, validated, and successfully migrated. Your responsibilities will include:Leading detailed analysis of current-state Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes and future-state requirementsWorking with enterprise and solution architects to clarify scope, dependencies, risks and integration considerationsTranslating complex technical and security-related requirements into clear, actionable artefactsSupporting the development of statements of work, solution options, requirements, and implementation documentationEngaging key technical stakeholders and SMEs across Identity, Cyber Security, Salesforce, and enterprise systemsEnsuring the solution remains aligned to business needs throughout design and deliveryContributing to continuous improvement and promoting best‑practice BA methodologies within the program
What you'll need to succeed: To achieve success in this role, you’ll need to possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines. You’ll also need to:Strong understanding of Salesforce permissions managementStrong understanding of Identity management and IAM principlesStrong understanding of Microsoft role-based access controls (RBAC)Experience working on Identity management transition projects, ideally Entra/Azure AD to OktaExperience integrating RBAC into systems for permissions and access controlExperience with Salesforce profiles, roles and access controlsAbility to work with ambiguity and manage complex technical stakeholder groupsStrong capability in documenting business, functional and non‑functional requirementsKnowledge of BA methodologies (BABOK, BPMN, IIBA) and modern delivery frameworks (Agile/Hybrid)
