* Noosa Hospital: 09:00 AM – 02:00 PM (In‐hospital ACC)
* 02:00 PM – 06:00 PM (Hospital rounds on Monday, Thursday, and Friday)
* Nambour Selangor Hospital: Every second Wednesday, 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM (Hospital rounds)

What You Will Be Doing

As a Hospital Pathology Collector (Phlebotomist), you report to the Hospital Collector Lead and work across all wards including Paediatrics, Medical, ICU, CCU, Emergency, Oncology, Special Care Nursery, Maternity and Rehabilitation. Your role requires empathy and drive to deliver customer service and quality health care.

Your Key Responsibilities

* Liaise and build effective relationships with doctors, nurses and patients.
* Collect advanced pathology samples – blood and non‐blood – across wards, including paediatric cases, difficult bleeds and complex AGB's.
* Maintain meticulous records for every patient and sample.

What Type Of Person Will Be Successful

You have experience as a Pathology Collector, currently working in a hospital or clinic, or a Registered Nurse looking for regular daytime shifts. You are an excellent communicator, proactive, professional, and committed to exceeding expectations for patient care.

The Type Of Attributes & Skills You Would Possess

* Experience and knowledge in phlebotomy, ideally with a Certificate III in Pathology Collection or a nursing background.
* Excellent communication and liaison skills with empathy and a patient‐centred approach.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
* Hold or be willing to obtain a Working With Children Check.
* Must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, New Zealand citizen, or hold a valid visa with permission to work.

Vaccination Requirements

* Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination is required.
* Additional vaccinations may be required based on location and setting.
