Job Description
We are seeking a professional to lead and develop our trade finance and credit management activities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for strategic leadership, trade finance, credit risk management, and team leadership.
The role requires developing and implementing strategies for trade finance and credit management, ensuring alignment with overall financial and business goals. This involves managing all aspects of trade finance, including letters of credit, guarantees, export/import financing, working capital solutions, and negotiating agreements with banks, credit insurers, and export credit agencies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for success in this role. Additionally, the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders is crucial.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 5+ years' experience in trade finance, credit management, or treasury roles, preferably in multinational settings
* Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (legal competence is a plus)
* Proven leadership and people management abilities
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
* Effective in fast-paced, international, and cross-functional environments
* Skilled at building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Fluent in English; Scandinavian language skills are a plus
