The University of Sydney's Brain and Mind Centre is a hub for innovation and research strategies that translate into improved treatment and disease prevention. The centre comprises 27 research units, staffed by over 200 researchers and 100 students.

Our Youth Mental Health and Technology team puts young people at the forefront of their care. We collaborate with health services to develop pioneering treatments for those aged 12-25 with emerging mental health disorders.
About the Opportunity
* We are seeking a skilled professional to work within a multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality research outputs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting data wrangling from diverse sources, facilitating data analytics and contributing to novel methodologies to model illness trajectories in youth mental health.
Key Responsibilities:
* Data wrangling and preparation for analysis
* Collaboration with the wider team to develop grant applications
About You
* 2+ years of experience in mathematics, statistics, and/or data science roles
* Proficiency in R or Python programming languages
* Data wrangling experience from multimodal and disparate sources
* Familiarity with machine learning and longitudinal modelling
* Possess excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
