Role Description
As a freelance Graphic Designer based in Canberra, you will become one of our business partners - like minded with a focus on the quality of your work, great communication, service orientated with a high attention to detail. You will work with us to create visual content to support the clients of Kings Junction.
Responsibilities include designing digital and print materials, creating brand-aligned graphics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure all designs effectively convey key messages. The designer will also manage visual assets and contribute their creativity to enhance external and internal communications.
As a boutique business our work demands changes reguarly, so we would be one of YOUR clients. We are NOT offering a permanent job - we are looking to expand our designer base here in Canberra. As our business grows, your design business would grow too.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
* Experience in creating both digital and print materials, including layouts, infographics, presentations, and social media content
* Strong understanding of branding principles, visual storytelling, and typography
* Ability to manage projects independently while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams
* Prior experience in corporate, government, or non-profit sectors is a plus
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
