Lithgow City Council has an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Painter to join their team in Lithgow, NSW. Reporting to the Works Coordinator – Buildings, you will be responsible to enhance Council buildings by programmed annual painting maintenance in a tradesman-like manner.
Responsibilities
* Plan paint maintenance programs
* Organise resources
* Paint Council buildings/structures
* Maintain vehicle
* Respond to Emergency Calls
Qualifications
* Current Class C Driver's Licence
* Trade Certificate – Painting
* Experience in painting
* Demonstrated commitment to and understanding of Work Health and Safety
* Demonstrated commitment to the principles of honesty and integrity
Preferred
* Working within a team environment
* Ability to use various computer systems
* Ability to program workAssess capital works and program
* Scaffold tickets / Working at Heights
Salary and Benefits
* Between $1,176.78 and $1,301.14 per week, commensurate with your skills, qualifications and experience
* Permanent Full-time, 38 hours per week
