About our client: Perspective is seeking a business development executive on behalf of a market leader in industrial gate automation. Our client is renowned for its innovative technologies and customer-centric approach, consistently achieving year-on-year growth across dynamic markets. About the role: As a BDM manager you'll be the face of the brand across Victoria and Tasmania Being a leading provider of automatic control systems for commercial openings and closures, our client transforms everyday environments with smart solutions that deliver comfort, security and energy efficiency, all at the touch of a button. With their innovation and design they have transformed our environments and provided developing solutions, comfort, security and energy saving options all at the touch of a button aka automatic controls! This role is responsible for building strong business relationships and effectively communicating the full range of products and solutions to support the business objectives of Key Accounts and other customers, while driving sales growth and increasing market share across primarily Victoria and Tasmania. Salary and Remuneration: Base Salary : $100,000 (commensurate with experience) Bonus structure : From 10-20% performance bonuses Company vehicle : Fully maintained premium vehicle included Your responsibilities will include: Drive sales growth and meet profitability targets Develop and execute sales and distribution strategies Build and maintain strategic relationships with Key Accounts and major customers Develop tailored account plans to maximise customer value Identify and pursue new project opportunities within the territory Manage the sales process from lead generation through to closing deals Launch and implement new Industrial Channel Partnership programs Conduct a minimum of 15 face-to-face hours per week with clients and prospects Present and promote product solutions through samples, catalogues, and demonstrations Deliver exceptional customer service and technical product knowledge Expand product reach into new markets with strategic sales planning Monitor and report on project performance, budgets, and KPIs Represent the company at trade shows, events, and exhibitions Perform other duties as required About you: Minimum 5 years' experience in sales and territory management (B2B & B2C) Degree qualification desirable but not essential Results-driven, self-motivated, and ambitious Strong market insight and competitor awareness Excellent verbal and written communication skills Confident in delivering presentations and leading negotiations Strong relationship-building skills across all levels Effective multitasker with the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines Highly organised and detail-oriented Capable of working independently while being a team player Professional, trustworthy, and able to manage confidential information Technically minded with the ability to learn and explain product features Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Salesforce is a plus Travel Requirements: Frequent domestic travel and occasional overseas travel will be required.
