Location: Perth, WA
Salary: $80,000 - $125,000
About the Role
We are seeking a precise and analytical Estimator to join a high-performing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and comprehensive tenders to support upcoming project wins. This is an ideal position for a professional who enjoys technical analysis and wants to play a key role in the front-end success of a growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Review project plans and specifications to determine the overall scope of work and required resources.
* Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labour, and equipment needed for competitive tenders.
* Source and evaluate quotes from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure value and project alignment.
* Identify potential project risks and opportunities to provide accurate financial forecasting.
* Collaborate with project managers and senior leadership to finalise bid submissions and budgets.
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction, civil, or engineering industries.
* Strong ability to perform accurate take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings.
* High level of commercial acumen with a sharp eye for detail and mathematical accuracy.
* Excellent negotiation skills for managing supplier and subcontractor relationships.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet strict tender submission deadlines.
