Verve Partners are currently partnering with a well-regarded Commercial Construction company known for delivering high-quality and innovative projects across NSW with a healthy pipeline of work up. They are looking to bring on a motivated and driven Contracts Administrator to work out of their office on the Central Coast, NSW.
Whether your background is in commercial construction or you bring strong residential experience and are looking to transition. As the Contracts Administrator, you will be a key contributor to project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, quality and safety standards are consistently achieved.
You’ll be working within a collaborative team environment, gaining valuable mentorship and hands-on exposure, including regular site interaction and report into the Senior Project Manager.
Responsibilities
* Review and finalise subcontract documentation prior to issue
* Monitor and ensure subcontractors meet all compliance and statutory obligations
* Manage progress claims, including preparation and verification of payment approvals
* Administer subcontract variations in line with company processes
* Evaluate and process extension of time (EOT) claims
* Assist with final account processes and Contract Value Agreements
* Develop and maintain project budgets and financial tracking systems
* Work closely with the Project Manager to establish and monitor project financial targets
To be considered for the role you will have
* A bachelor’s degree in building, Construction Management or relevant trade background
* Solid understanding of construction methodologies, across commercial or residential projects
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic
