About the Role
Step into a rewarding senior role where your expertise truly makes an impact. We are seeking a Senior Physiotherapist with strong clinical skills in neurological physiotherapy to join our passionate team at Royal Rehab Ryde.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high‑quality, evidence‑based physiotherapy interventions based on comprehensive assessment.
* Supervise assistants and junior physiotherapists and provide clinical supervision.
* Supervise physiotherapy students and contribute to their educational development.
* Maintain and encourage an evidence‑based approach to practice.
* Contribute to the development of the physiotherapy services within LifeWorks Ryde.
About You – Essential Criteria
* Unrestricted registration with AHPRA.
* Minimum 3 years of recent experience working with clients with a neurological disability, ideally in both an outpatient and community setting.
* Hydrotherapy experience with a competent level of swimming to support clients in water.
* Experience and understanding of advanced technology used in neurological rehabilitation.
* Experience supervising level 1/2 physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants and students, and providing in‑service education to colleagues.
* Experience working with NDIS funded clients and/or knowledge of involved systems.
* Experience working with iCare participants or similar compensable schemes.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated effective multidisciplinary teamwork.
* Sound time‑management and organisational skills.
* Evidence of relevant professional development and commitment to evidence‑based practice.
* Experience leading quality improvement activities.
* Current unrestricted C‑class driver's licence, good driving record and own car (travel to visits may be required; mileage can be claimed).
About You – Desirable Criteria
* Experience with EksoNR robotic exoskeleton, Tyromotion suite, functional electrical stimulation devices, somatosensory technology.
* Knowledge of research activities within neurological rehabilitation, including evidence for the use of assistive technology.
