As a Stockroom Assistant, you will be responsible for executing warehouse tasks, including inventory management and stock audits. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will assist with the efficient and effective delivery and control of goods and equipment.
About The Role
* Unload deliveries and verify them against order forms.
* Catalogue or label items with storage information.
* Store goods in bins and on racks, or stack heavy items on floors.
* Complete orders by selecting goods from shelves and checking them off relevant lists.
* Pack and dispatch completed orders to customers.
* Operate forklift machinery to move heavy packages.
* Retrieve details of item locations and quantities using visual display units or computers.
* Enter delivery slip, requisition, and invoice data into computer systems.
Requirements
* You should have demonstrated experience in inventory management or commercial equivalent.
* Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
* A current forklift license is required.
* A driver's license is also necessary.
* You must be an Australian citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
