About This Role
We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to join our Consumer Finance team. As a key member of this team, you will work with external stakeholders, business users, and technology teams to deliver changes that keep card payments working for customers and maintain compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyzing Scheme and regulatory changes impacting card payment functionality
* Eliciting and defining user requirements using appropriate methods and translating them into functional requirements
* Analysis and specification of requirements traceable, verifiable, and prioritized in a manner acceptable to both business and technology stakeholders
* Effective use of data and process modeling tools to analyze and represent information effectively
* Assessing existing processes to identify redesign or enhancement opportunities to deliver improved productivity or efficiency
* Producing conceptual designs and contributing to the development of business cases
* Preparing reports including cost/benefit analyses and recommendations
Requirements
* Deep understanding of Financial Products, processes, and systems, including experience working with Card Schemes and regulators on compliance projects
* Extensive experience working in agile environments and familiarity with Human-Centered Design techniques
* Creativity and simplifying complex processes and issues, problem-solving, and analysis
* Ability to communicate product vision to key stakeholders and teams
* Leadership skills, including leading workshops, in cross-functional business and IT teams
* Ability to innovate, adapt, and grasp new skills and content
* Collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders
