Details: ACT Corrective Services (ACTCS) is seeking a motivated and conscientious person to fill the position of Administration Officer (ASO3) within the AMC Executive Support Team. The successful applicant will assist with the administration and coordination of personal and professional visit bookings while ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
In addition, the successful applicant will be expected to demonstrate strong administrative skills, including responding to general enquiries and complaints, drafting correspondence, and providing high-quality customer service to a diverse range of stakeholders.
Further to this, you will be expected to use a range of computer applications including Microsoft Office and records management in accordance with the Territory Records Act 2002, undertake data entry including incident reporting data, and assist other areas with data collection and compliance monitoring as required.
To be successful, you will have the ability to think and act in a busy environment, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to manage competing priorities.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:

* To be eligible for permanent or temporary employment within the ACT Public Service (ACTPS) you must be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident or hold a valid work visa.
* If an officer no longer holds a visa that permits them to work in Australia, their employment with the ACT Public Service (ACTPS) will be terminated.
Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of up to 12 months with the possibility of extension.
