Based in Brisbane's southern suburbs, an opportunity has become available for an experienced Management Accountant to join a high‐performing finance team. Working closely with operational and project stakeholders, you will play a key role in driving business performance, supporting project delivery, and providing the financial insights that inform strategic decision‐making across the organisation.
About the Role
Reporting into senior finance leadership, you'll partner closely with operational and project stakeholders, providing the financial insights and commercial support required to drive performance across multiple business units.
This is a genuine management accounting position, offering exposure to budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, KPI analysis and stakeholder engagement across a complex project environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare month‐end management accounts, reporting and financial analysis
* Review financial performance against budgets, forecasts and operational KPIs
* Support the preparation and management of operating and capital budgets
* Partner with project and business leaders to provide commercial insights
* Assist with forecasting, business planning and performance improvement initiatives
* Contribute to reporting enhancements and process improvement projects
About You
* Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline, with CA/CPA completed or in progress
* 4+ years' experience in a Management Accountant position within construction, infrastructure, mining or industrial sectors
* Strong capability across management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and KPI analysis
* Proven ability to partner with operational stakeholders, projects and business units to drive performance
* Excellent communication skills, a positive team‐focused attitude
