**About the Role**:
We are seeking an experienced **Test Manager (Quality Engineering)**to join our dynamic consulting team, supporting a leading client in the **telecommunications sector**. This role is ideal for a testing professional with strong manual testing, test governance, and multi-project coordination experience who thrives in fast-paced environments.
As part of our consultancy, you'll be delivering high-quality testing services across complex, enterprise-scale Telco programs. You'll be instrumental in upholding best practices in test governance, while ensuring quality outcomes and smooth delivery across concurrent initiatives.
**Responsibilities**:
- Own and manage **end-to-end manual testing efforts**across multiple Telco projects.
- Lead and execute testing strategy, planning, design, execution, and defect management.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Coordinate testing activities across **multiple projects simultaneously**with mínimal supervision.
- Provide reporting and insights on test progress, quality metrics, and risk.Mentor and guide junior testers when required.
**Essential Skills and Experience**:
- Proven experience in **manual testing**across complex systems and large-scale enterprise projects.
- Demonstrated background in the **Telecommunications sector**, preferably within enterprise transformation or OSS/BSS environments.
- Strong **test governance**knowledge - with hands-on experience defining and enforcing test processes, documentation standards, and quality gates.
- Experience working **independently across multiple concurrent projects**in matrixed environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Sound understanding of the full **SDLC/STLC**and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g. HP ALM, JIRA, Zephyr, or similar).Ability to work both strategically and tactically - managing testing from both leadership and execution standpoints.
