Kinetic IT are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Test Engineer to join our team on a 1-year fixed term contract. If you're passionate about quality assurance and have a strong background in testing web applications, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities will include:
* Performing functional (front and backend testing), integration, and regression testing for web applications.
* Reproducing defects in the test systems and writing replication steps.
* Proficiency in Selenium with C# for test automation.
* Developing and executing test cases for Automation Testing using Selenium - C# language.
* Familiarity with web applications using Microsoft technologies, including C# and .NET.
* Developing test plans that outline the scope of testing, testing objectives, and the overall testing strategy. Working closely with stakeholders to define testing requirements and expectations.
* Execution of test cases to verify that the software functions as intended and meets quality standards. This involves running both manual and automated tests to identify defects or issues in the software.
* Regression testing to ensure that new changes or features do not introduce new defects or negatively impact existing functionality.
What you'll bring to the table:
* Experience performing functional, integration and regression testing for web applications.
* Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, test processes, and testing tools.
* Experience in using DevOps Test Plans or Jira for creating test suites, test plans, and test cases.
* Experience in Testing Web applications that use Microsoft technologies C#, .NET.
* Experience in Testing ServiceNow and API testing.
* Strong SQL skills, with the ability to write and modify SQL queries
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
* Agile and ISTQB Foundation certifications (desirable)
