The Position
As a Network Administrator Level 1, you will be assisting with day-to-day operations, incidents and contributes to the continuous improvement of network infrastructure under the guidance of senior network administrators
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide first level support for network related incidents.
* Monitoring network performance, identify issues and assist with implementing proactive improvements.
* Contribute to upgrades and network refresh projects as directed.
* Support schedule maintenance, patching and firmware upgrades as required.
* Maintain documentation, network diagrams, configuration standards and asset management

Our Ideal Candidate:
* Good understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, DNS.
* Solid understanding of government security frameworks such as ISM.
* Strong troubleshooting and configuration skills.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and ensure milestones are met.
* Good attention to detail and documentation skills
Eligibility
* An Australian Citizen;
* Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance – Top Secret Positive Vetting
