We have an exciting opportunity for a Sydney Water accredited Engineer/Water Servicing Coordinator to join our Wollongong Water Services Team. The accreditation should be C1; however, graduates interested in working in the water supply and wastewater space are welcome to apply. Responsibilities
* Ensure work output meets high technical standards, aligns with project requirements, and is delivered within time and budget constraints.
* Support the delivery of small to medium projects, including preparing proposals, agreements, and documentation.
* Conduct research and data analysis to inform decisions and planning.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and project partners.
* Assist in preparing and reviewing technical reports, drawings, and tender documents.
* Develop practical solutions to project challenges.
* Implement and document quality control processes.
* Adhere to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
* Conduct site inspections and oversee site works to ensure compliance and progress.
Skills and Qualifications
* Recently completed or in the process of completing a Bachelor of Civil or Environmental Engineering.
* 1 year of undergraduate experience (preferred but not mandatory).
* Ideally accredited with Sydney Water as a C1 Designer.
* Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD; experience with 12D is advantageous.
* Good communication and relationship-building skills.
* Strong prioritization and coordination abilities.
* Ability to work independently and in teams.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
