Synergie Australia is seeking an Industrial Painter/Blaster to join our team for our FIFO client located in the Northern Territory.
The important parts:
* 13 days on / 8 days off FIFO roster with charter points from Cairns or Darwin (travel from other locations at applicant's expense)
* Pay Rate: $50.00 – $55.13 (flat rate)
* Immediate start with ongoing employment opportunities for the right candidate
What you will be required to do:
* Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed
* Apply industrial coatings using spray guns, rollers, or brushes
* Mix and match paints and coatings according to specifications
* Inspect surfaces for defects and ensure a smooth, even finish
* Operate and maintain painting equipment safely
* Follow workplace safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and ventilation
To be successful in the role you will have (or willingness to obtain):
* Previous experience in industrial painting or a similar role
* EWP + 11m high risk work license
* Confined space entry and working heights certification (within the last 3 years)
* Knowledge of different painting techniques, coatings, and equipment
* Must be willing to be clean shaven for fit mask testing requirements
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions, including heights and confined spaces
