This hands-on role is perfect for someone with solid building and maintenance experience who enjoys variety in their day and takes pride in doing a job well.Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll handle both day-to-day maintenance issues and scheduled works across our sites – ensuring everything is safe, compliant, and up to standard. You'll also help coordinate tasks with maintenance assistants and be a go-to person for on-the-ground fixes.What The Role InvolvesResponding to maintenance requests and carrying out reactive and planned maintenanceMaintaining buildings and facilities to a high standard in line with safety regulationsScheduling and prioritising work, including procurement of materialsSupporting preventative maintenance programsUsing job logging systems (training provided) and keeping accurate recordsLiaising with site staff and contractors to get the job done right, first timeWhat You’ll BringTrade qualification or 5+ years’ building and maintenance experienceStrong knowledge of tools, materials, and building codesConfidence reading plans and following instructionsExcellent time management and ability to work independentlySound communication skills and basic computer literacyA current SA Driver’s Licence (essential)Valid DHS Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)Why join UnitingSA?At UnitingSA, we’re not just about buildings – we’re about people.
