About The Role

Join the Fundraising team as a Community Events Coordinator and play a vital role in supporting the regional healthcare. You will be the driving force behind a diverse program of fundraising events designed to fund medical equipment and innovative services, with a special focus on the Cancer Wellness Centre. This role balances the "hands‐on" delivery of internal events with the stewardship of community‐led initiatives, acting as a key liaison for local groups and service organisations.

Key Responsibilities

* End-to-end coordination of community and internal events (logistics, permits, and on-the-day management). Note: Occasional after‐hours work is required.
* Act as a champion for Grampians Health by fostering strong ties with corporate partners, community groups, and donors across the region.
* Maintain high-quality care for supporters to ensure long-term engagement and retention.
* Use Salesforce to track donations, maintain accurate records, and evaluate campaign success.
* Provide backup for the fundraising office and support volunteers with the WardRobe and Volunteer Gift Shop.

Skills & Experience

* Proven background in event coordination is essential. Experience in fundraising, community engagement, or marketing is highly preferred.
* Demonstrated connection to or experience working within the Ballarat and Grampians regional community.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive information with care.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce experience is a plus).
* You are proactive, highly organised, and thrive under pressure while maintaining a donor-focused mindset.

Culture & Benefits

* Flexible work arrangements and purchase leave opportunities
* Salary packaging for living expenses such as rent/mortgage plus meals, entertainment & holidays
* Access to Fitness Passport membership
* Staff rewards and recognition programs

Diversity and Inclusion

* All appointments are subject to a satisfactory police records check, immunisation clearance and Working with Children check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check.
* All employees must be willing and able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required, which at a minimum is a surgical mask. Additional PPE requirements are role dependent.
* Grampians Health is a child safe organisation, committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people.
* Grampians Health is committed to providing a diverse and inclusive workforce.
* We encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with disability, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, mature age workers and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (or questioning), intersex and asexual LGBTQIA+.
