Overview
We now have an exciting chance available for a Senior Technical Officer – Electrical and Instrumentation to join us in our Operations & Maintenance team based in Longford, VIC on a full time permanent basis. Reporting to the Team Leader Asset Operations East, you will play a key role in carrying out preventive and breakdown maintenance to fixed and mobile plant.
Responsibilities
- Inspect work areas and equipment for hazards or damage
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, including repairs and part replacements
- Diagnose and fix faults or breakdowns
- Read drawings and instructions to plan and complete tasks
- Estimate and order materials as needed
- Support safety standards and assist with training apprentices or team members
Qualifications
- Licensed 'A' Grade Electrician
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence
- Experience or qualifications in Instrumentation and Control (valued)
- Experience or qualifications in Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (advantageous)
