 
        
        Youth Support Specialist
This is an opportunity to make a positive and meaningful difference in the lives of young people. As a Youth Support Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring family visits between children and their families. You will ensure the safety and well-being of the child or young person and those participating in the visit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and facilitate contact between the child or young person and the family member.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the child or young person and those participating in the visit.
- Establish rapport with children and young people through mentoring or youth work.
- Provide transportation as required.
- Complete report writing after each contact with a child or young person.
Requirements:
- Certificate 4 in Community Services, Youth Work, or other relevant qualifications to the industry.
- Current Unrestricted Full Drivers Licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle, child lock system and back seat capacity.
- First Aid and CPR training (or willing to obtain).
- Proficient in using computer systems and Microsoft Outlook.
- Previous experience working with children and young people.}
