We are currently now recruitment for a passionate and experienced Assistant Venue Manager to join our leadership team. As our Assistant Venue Manager, you'll support the Venue Manager and General Manager in leading day-to-day operations, motivating and mentoring the team, and ensuring our guests enjoy an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive. This role is perfect for a hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves building strong team culture, and takes pride in delivering memorable service.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the guest experience and continually looking for opportunities to improve
* Lead and coach a diverse team of people ensuring that team culture is at the forefront of everything that you do
* Monitoring of wages, comps and wastages
* Team member rostering in line with forecasting and budgeting
* Assisting the guests with any feedback and actioning as appropriate
* Contribute to a culture of care and safety, ensuring it becomes a way of life within the business
* Ensuring venue presentation is at a high standard at all times
* Liaising with other departments on a regular basis
* A high knowledge of the product produced in venue
What we are looking for:
* Previous experience in a leadership role within premium dining or high-volume hospitality
* A hands-on leader who leads by example and motivates their team
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage competing priorities
* A passion for hospitality, great food, and creating memorable experiences
* Current RSA
