As an Electrical Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of the processing plant. Your responsibilities will include:
Coordinate the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems and process control technologies across the site Lead capital projects and oversee design initiatives to improve operational capabilities and infrastructure Drive cost-effective strategies to enhance energy efficiency and reduce utility expenses Ensure all electrical schematics and documentation are consistently updated and accurately maintained Supervise daily electrical maintenance and repair activities to minimise downtime and support production goals Establish and manage preventative maintenance programs and workshop improvements to boost plant reliability Maintain strict adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance standards Recruit, mentor, and manage trade personnel while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture What you'll need to succeed
Trade-qualified Electrician with over 5 years of experience in food manufacturing or value-added production environments Extensive expertise in industrial systems, including refrigeration, wastewater management, steam generation, and environmental technologies Proficient in PLC programming, including program development and fault diagnosis Experienced in configuring HMI and working with common automation communication protocols Strong commitment to safety, environmental standards, and workplace health practices Locally based in the Rockhampton region, ensuring availability and reliability Valid driver’s licence Contactable professional references What you'll get in return
