Opportunity
Due to a strong pipeline of work, we are seeking the appointment of intermediate level Engineers with a passion for water and wastewater, to join our thriving Planning team. This role will be based in our Newcastle office.
Responsibilities
* Supporting our senior engineers in the delivery of planning, feasibility and strategy studies and concept design for a range of water, wastewater and recycled water engineering projects
* Hydraulic modelling of water supply and wastewater systems
* GIS analysis, cost estimation and the preparation of reports
* Field inspection and condition assessment of water supply, wastewater and stormwater assets
* Collaborating with other disciplines to contribute to process engineering, design and asset management projects and project delivery services
Qualifications
* Recently completed a civil or environmental engineering or related discipline degree, achieving a high standard of results throughout your studies
* Knowledge and interest of water and wastewater network planning
* A commitment to learn and expand your knowledge of the water industry
* Sound reasoning and problem‑solving skills
* Exemplary skills in Microsoft packages including Excel and Word
