THE POSITION
Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
* Planned Preventative Maintenance
* Reactive and Corrective Maintenance
* Ensuring continuity of essential building and engineering services across Defence facilities
* Conducting maintenance tasks including inspection, classification, fault finding, repairs, and planned works
* Working collaboratively with staff and subcontractors to meet operational delivery requirements for Defence on-base accommodation
* Actively participating in driving regular and sustainable improvement in safety performance
THE PERSON
* Full Australian Working Rights
* Trade qualification relevant to state
* Current NT Electrical Licence
* Low Voltage Rescue (LVR) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a small team
* Flexible approach, reliable and hardworking
* Physically fit and safety-focused
* Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical including Drug & Alcohol screening
* Local to Darwin
