Role Overview
Are you an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer ready to lead the delivery of a major industrial project? In this role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical works. Working closely with project managers, engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders to drive project outcomes, ensure technical integrity, and keep key milestones on track. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to significant capital works and make a meaningful impact within the heavy industrial sector.
You will monitor project progress, address issues as they arise, and ensure all mechanical activities meet safety, quality, and compliance standards. Your mechanical expertise, coordination skills, and proactive problem-solving will be essential to keeping the project on track and successfully delivering outcomes.
Qualifications
You
Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
5+ years' experience within a heavy industrial environment
Proven background across heavy industry, mining, manufacturing, water infrastructure, or plant operations
Exceptional communication, coordination, and time management abilities
A strong commitment to safety, quality, and collaborative project outcomes
