The Provedores operate from Coffs Harbour, Byron Bay, Newcastle and Tamworth and have an extensive reach.
The Role
Join Provedores in Mullumbimby as a Storeperson Help us expand and increase our customer base. Responsibilities include stock control, cool room/freezer work, order processing, and delivery. Let's succeed together.
Hours of operation are 4am – 4pm, consisting of 8-hour shifts, so whilst primarily a day role, it may require working early mornings of 4am pm, or afternoon shifts 8am - 4.30pm as required. Wednesday and Saturday shifts are rotated with Saturday being a short shift of 4 am - 8 am.
Your Key Accountabilities may include but may not be limited to the following.
* Be competent in covering all roles in the warehouse, assisting as necessary to achieve daily KPIs.
* Warehouse stock control- Stock Receiving, replenishment and rotation- stock picking, loading and despatch.
* Administration duties, applying credits, printing invoices and orders.
* Actively contribute to being a key team member able to cover and support the Warehouse Manager.
About you
We want someone with warehousing experience and food knowledge, good communication skills, and the ability to work well with diverse customers. You will need to be self-motivated, adaptable to change, and able to work in a small team environment.
The ideal applicant might ideally possess the following qualifications and attributes:
* Some food knowledge.
* Time management skills with the ability to communicate tasks with other team members.
* Keep the warehouse clean.
* Pick & pack experience in a fast-paced environment.
* Reliable, punctual and possess an excellent work ethic.
* Excellent ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
* Hands-on approach with good planning and organisation skills.
* Good oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to work autonomously.
* Problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.
* Demonstrated computer literacy and data entry skills.
* Attention to detail and ability to deliver quality customer service.
* Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
* Maintain a professional presentation, confidence and positive behaviour.
In addition, you will have the following qualifications & experience:
* Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
* Minimum Current Class C Driver Licence
* Current First Aid Certificate or preparedness to complete the training
* High School Certificate or equivalent
Candidates with the following qualifications and experience are preferred.
* Experienced forklift driving/licence is preferable but not essential.
