Chef Manager for NSW Sport and Recreation – Lake Burrendong, near Dubbo & Wellington. Beautiful location. Accommodation is available.
Responsibilities
* Hands on planning, supervising, and managing the food production and menu based catering onsite
* Responsible for stock control, budgets, weekly reporting and staff mentoring and training
* Building and leveraging positive customer and client relationships to achieve our partnership objectives
* Manage finances within a budget & maintain productive operations across multi services
* Ensure contract compliance is met and understanding of the scope of work required (including all OH&S; compliance)
Qualifications
* Minimum Cert 3 Commercial Cookery qualification
* Thorough understanding of allergens and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (mandatory)
* Good understanding of the NSW healthy eating framework
* Menu creation and costing
* Robust people management skills & ability to deliver a high standard of customer focused service - this is also a client facing role
* Contract management experience highly regarded
* Intermediate computer/Microsoft office skills
* The successful applicant will be required to hold or obtain a Working with Children Check
