We are looking for trade-qualified Mechanical Fitters and Boilermakers to join our team in Gladstone, with opportunities available across both workshop and site-based roles. Whether you prefer the consistency of workshop work or the variety of shutdowns and site projects, Mecha has a place for you.

Available Roles
Site-Based:
• Mechanical Fitters & Boilermakers – Projects, maintenance, installations and shutdowns across QAL, BSL, RTAY, and QMAG
Workshop-Based:
• Mechanical Fitters – Assembly, repairs, and overhauls of fixed plant equipment
• Boilermakers – Fabrication and welding of structural and mechanical components
What You Will Be Doing
•Read and interpret technical and fabrication drawings
•Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment
•Fabricate, weld, and assemble components (Boilermakers)
•Troubleshoot faults and complete job records
•Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
•Work independently or as part of a team
•Leading Hand opportunities for experienced tradespeople
What We are Looking For
•Relevant Trade Qualification – Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker
•Strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to safety
•Ability to work locally in Gladstone and Rockhampton (no FIFO)
•Site roles: Ability to complete site inductions, medicals, and compliance (Blue/Yellow Medipass)
