About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced, qualified, and dedicated Emergency Services Officer with a strong security background to join our team as a Security Emergency Services Officer (SESO).
In this role, you will work both independently and as part of a team to deliver comprehensive security and emergency response support for our client. Responsibilities are diverse and may include security patrols, front gate access control, medical response, fire response and protection, hazardous material spill management, confined space rescue, and working at heights rescue.

Roster: 14 On / 14 Off – 12 Hour Day & Night Shifts

Travel Type: FIFO (Fly in / Fly out) from Townsville or Rockhampton
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain a thorough working knowledge and practical understanding of site security related procedures and policy
* Participate as part of the site-based emergency response team
* Assisting with onsite Drug and Alcohol testing as required
* Contribute with ongoing hazard identification programs
* Carry out vehicle and foot security patrols to a high standard, ensuring accurate post patrol reports are documented
* Maintain uniforms and PPE to a high standard & working condition
* Carry out vehicle pre-start checklist
* Participate in regular toolbox, safety and on the job training / professional development sessions
* Assist in the maintenance of site assets and vehicles, to ensure compliance with site requirements
* Provide daily inspection of emergency response equipment and reporting of defects in accordance with the Client's recognised Site systems and processes.
* Provide initial first aid response to site incidents in accordance with the Clients processes.
* Respond and assist with emergency incidents
* Undertake and assist with emergency response, first aid and security training as directed.

* QLD Security Licence (Monitoring, Unarmed & Crowd Control)
* Current Standard 11
* Current Manual MR Driver's Licence
* HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
* HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
* HLTAID014 Provide Advanced First Aid
* HLTAID015 Provide Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy
* HLTPAT005 Collect Specimens for drugs of abuse
* Work safely in the construction industry \"White Card'
* Responsible Service of Alcohol Accreditation
* Operate and maintain a 4WD Vehicle (RIIVEH305D)
* Safely Access Rail Corridor (SARC) – Completed online via client induction
* UETTDRRF06 – Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel
* Current Coal Mine Worker Health Assessment (Section 4) with Mines rescue
* Proof of working rights (AUS or NZ passport, Australian birth certificate or Visa)
Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response Rescue

* G2 – RIIRIS402E Carry out the Risk Management Processes
* G8 – RIIWHS301E – Conduct Safety and Health Investigation
* G9 – RIICOM301E – Communicate Information
