Support Professional Role
This role focuses on delivering fun, routine and positive engagement to children. The goal is to create a supportive environment that helps the child feel regulated and assisted.
* Key Responsibilities:
o Engage in play and activities with the child, encouraging development and growth.
o Develop and maintain a routine that supports emotional regulation and transitions.
o Encourage positive behavior through connection and communication.
The successful candidate will work with a young boy who has experienced a traumatic brain injury, ADHD-type tendencies and high energy levels. This requires providing after-school care, supporting emotional regulation and transitions, promoting positive behaviors through routine and connection, participating in age-appropriate activities, following agreed support strategies, and completing brief shift notes as required.
Work Schedule:
The role operates on 4 days per week during school terms and variable hours during school holidays.
