You’ll take full ownership of the product lifecycle, from market analysis and product design to regulatory compliance and post-launch review. The Opportunity: You’ll drive every element of the product strategy, collaborating with internal teams to create a competitive, compliant and customer-focused offering. Your role spans concept development, PDS drafting & development, stakeholder engagement, pricing oversight and governance, making you the central figure in the product’s success. Your Responsibilities: Lead the full design, development and launch of a new insurance product Conduct market and customer research to guide product structure and coverage Write and manage the PDS, TMD and associated policy documentation - essential Align with compliance, legal, claims, marketing and sales teams to ensure effective delivery Guide pricing input and product positioning strategy Manage risk reviews, governance processes and internal approvals Oversee testing, launch and post-implementation performance evaluation Act as the subject matter expert across all stages of the product lifecycle Your Profile: 5 years’ experience in general insurance, ideally with exposure to redtail, consumer or leisure products Proven ability to write and manage policy wordings and disclosure documents Strong understanding of insurance regulation, including DDO, TMD and PDS requirements Skilled in stakeholder engagement across compliance, pricing, legal and operations High attention to detail, strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking Experience in white-label or direct distribution models is highly regarded The Organisation: You’ll be joining a respected Australian insurer with a strong track record of growth and innovation.
