About the role
Ipswich Carpet Court is seeking an experienced and driven Store Manager to lead our retail team. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, driving sales and profitability, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This is a full-time, hands-on leadership role based in our Bundamba location.
What you'll be doing
* Manage all day-to-day store operations, including lead generation & sales, inventory management, installations, and customer relations
* Oversee the scheduling and logistics of installations to ensure on-time and accurate completion of projects
* Providing exceptional post-sale support and follow up
* Manage customer enquiries, complaints and escalations with professionalism, ensuring a satisfactory outcome
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with Contractors, Builders and other key stakeholders
* Analyse store performance data and make data-driven recommendations to improve profitability
* Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, customer acquisition and retention.
* Ensure the store maintains high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation
What we're looking for
* Proven track record of success as a Senior Sales Consultant or Retail Store Manager, within the Flooring industry
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate
* Demonstrated success in driving sales and operational excellence
* Adaptable and resourceful, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, continuously evolving retail environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and stakeholders
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
* Proficient in using retail management software and tools
* Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive shopping experience
