Senior Associate | Corporate & M&A | Sydney
A global brand with a well-established Sydney practice is looking for a Senior Associate to join its Corporate/M&A team.
The Role
You'll work across a full-service M&A practice advising on complex domestic and cross-border transactions: mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, capital raisings, W&I insurance, and general corporate advisory. The client base spans financial services, energy and renewables, technology, mining, and consumer markets.
They have recently had a number of high-profile transactions on the deal sheet including:
* Advising a major Asian energy company on an industry-first project for Australia's green energy space valued over 15 billion USD
* Acting for an alliance of international institutional agricultural investors on one of the most significant transactions of its type in the Australian market
The team is known for giving direct exposure to Partners on matters from the very first day, and they have a strong internal promotion record.
You'll Bring
* 5+ years PQE in corporate/M&A from a highly-regarded practice
* The ability to engage confidently with clients at a senior level
* An active interest in business development
